Utilizing interviews and on-site explorations with First Nations Plant Knowledge Expert, Holly Bikadi. naturalists and educators like Linda Gabris and the foraging team from West Coast Wild Foods, the film will dig deep into the roots and knowledge of the how, what, and where to harvest these plants safely and sustainably. The story will also explore why people are driven to go after a natural bounty. From interests of living off the land, getting in tune with our heritage, as well as familiarizing one’s self to natural surroundings in deep nature.
